Growing up on a small farm in rural Maine, Katie had a ‘love of place’ instilled in her from a very young age. Even as she migrated to other places in the country, she always knew that Maine was home for her. It was no wonder she came back to Maine and settled with her family on a small horse farm in Hope.

Katie graduated from The University of Maine with a degree in communication, has taught fly-fishing, skiing, and cooked on schooners in Penobscot Bay. Working as a marketing director and consultant for various Maine retirement communities, she enjoyed helping seniors finding the perfect places to meet their needs. It was not a big stretch when she entered the real estate business and continued helping people to find or sell their family home, retirement home, or summer get away.

Katie loves Maine and everything it has to offer. She spends her free time hiking with her husband and dogs, skiing near her camp in western Maine and of course, with her horses.
